Code of Conduct

Abbeyleix AFC have a code of conduct for all members associated with in the club to ensure smooth operating which helps protect our players’ parents, coaches, and committee members. Here are some of the important ones for our parents and players.

Player's Code of Conduct

Every player deserves to be treated with respect, dignity and sensitivity regardless of their ability,   ethnicity,  culture, beliefs, gender or sexual orientation .

Players must not use bad language or offensive gestures to coaches, team mates, opposition team or match official or spectators.

Parent's Code of Conduct

Focus on the children’s effort and performance rather than winning and losing, never ridicule or shout at a child for making a mistake or losing a match. 

Respect all match officials and decisions please do not shout or argue with them if you have a disagreement over a match decision or training with your child’s coaches wait for 24 hours before talking with them.

Please remember this is not the Premier League and not every match is the F.A. cup final, it is a child’s game of soccer for fun and enjoyment
