About Us
Welcome to Abbeyleix AFC! We are delighted that you are choosing and trusting us. Our club has been growing stronger with each passing year, and we take pride in our commitment to youth soccer.
Teams
Boys
At present, we have a thriving boys section with teams ranging from under 8 to under 17.
Girls
Our girls section is also flourishing, with teams in the under 8, under 11, under 13, and under 14 age groups.
League Participation:
All of our teams actively participate in the Midland School Boys League. We follow the FAI (Football Association of Ireland) development plan and are honoured to be recognised as a proud Club Mark Club, which is a testament to our commitment to excellence within the FAI.
Academy Soccer:
In addition to competitive play, we also offer Academy Soccer for those who prefer non-competitive engagement.
Community Engagement:
Throughout the year, Abbeyleix AFC Club is deeply involved in hosting various programs designed to promote the joy of soccer. These include fun and engaging activities such as Disney Princess events, soccer for women’s fitness, as well as participation in all FAI Camps during the Summer and Easter holidays. We also host our own in-house camps, making soccer more accessible to everyone in our community.
